Cherokee's talent and perseverance in maintaining her unique style comes through her love and passion of her musical roots which are the origins of jazz, soul, funk and disco music. Additionally her event brand Cherrry Entertainment created SOULFASHION in Berlin held during fashion week, her all female DJ event brand SUSHE was launched in Shanghai and MARTINI was her signature Melbourne weekly event. As an international trailblazing female, she's had many career first's. She was selected as one of 40 global female DJ innovators to participate in the first ever European Female DJ Summit in Copenhagen in 2021 and honourably she headlined for Australia at the World Expo in Shanghai in 2010. A former radio DJ presenter of Kiss Fm Australia she hosted her own show Cherry Global Radio Show for 10 years. As a dynamic industry woman she utilised her radio platform to help promote the growth of women DJs and artists of all genders, to assist them in their pursuits of reaching their DJ ambitions. 

Cherokee, is a regular at ADE Amsterdam and in 2016 she was one of the partners for Black Stereo Afro House Seminars which raised the first positive attention of the Afro House Movement to ADE. Cherokee boasts an outstanding range of diversified clientele, to reference a few: Louis Vuitton, Veuve Clicquot, NYCtourism.com (New York City's official tourism bureau), Australian Embassy Berlin and IAA International Car Show, Germany. She's a pioneering woman admired by fellow peers and her favourite sources of inspiration during her own DJ career have been DJ Heather (USA) Smokin Jo (UK) and Honey Dijon (USA). Frankie Knuckles, David Morales and Victor Simonelli are her house music idols!
