Self employed in her own company Cherry Entertainment since 2006, Cherokee possesses an extensive background in Sound & Music. She became a performing artist a year prior to working independently in her own company with her dedication & love of music propelling her to launch her own brand and organisation. Cherokee's is recognised in the industry through her work at Yamaha Music Australia, Soundcorp, Vinyl Warning and Kiss FM and Street FM.
Founder of Cherry Entertainment, Cherokee, created the international event “SOULFASHION” music and fashion, held during Fashion Week Berlin, “SUSHE” her all female event held in Shanghai and her successful cosmopolitan event “MARTINI” in Melbourne.
Cherokee has been global on the airwaves for 15 years. Working with numerous radio stations as a presenter and host, Cherry Global Radio Show (The Cherry Show) began in 2006 on Kiss FM Australia. Solely produced and hosted, she launched it onto the global platform in 2010 to extend broadcasting into Asia & the USA.
All radio functions includes programming, scripting, content writing, music arrangement, marketing, promotion and organisation of on air guest spots are done by Cherokee. The show encompasses music reviews, guest interviews, the latest music releases and up coming events. C.G.R also showcases International, National and Local DJ talent combining guest appearances, interviews and mixes. Record labels and recording artists have emerged through the show and this interaction has supported DJ’s, Artists & Record Labels in their quest to play and promote their music in Australia on Cherry Global Radio.
Cherokee’s background experience working as a music consultant and sound designer for Musicstyling Europe, which is a premier provider of bespoke music content to the luxury hotel industry worldwide currently servicing over 1800 hotels and resorts such as Mandarin Oriental, Raffles, Hyatt, Starwood, Four Seasons, Marriott, Ritz Carlton, Park Hyatt and Peninsula Hotels saw her working individually with each establishment, designing and developing the music concept for each area of the venues.
This specific service of expertise is required to understand the overall business objective in order to produce a comfortable environment and experience for cliental visiting or residing onsite. Cherokee's involvement in this process requires her expertise to analyse the technical specifications and equipment needed and required to produce the finished musical fitout. Cherokee also worked previously with retail and hospitality establishment's throughout Asia and Australia.
